December 03, 2013: Just a note and reminder - Apple products generally are unable to open many of the formats previously popular on PCs (avi, etc), and I keep hoping as the years pass that Apple will be able to do it but no luck so far. Try the links and give it some extra time to work but if not, I am sorry. I have switched many videos to other formats but you can imagine what a big job it is. I have converted so many times - from 8 MM to video tapes to DVDs to various computer formats and then to other formats for online. I need to get all on YouTube or Vemco but that will take forever, tho some are there. Let me know what experience you have with iPads, etc. Thanks. Most of the links do work on PCs. June 10, 2013: Glad you are here. In short this is a site for all the old 8mm and later Video tapes of our family beginning in the 1950's. I see I have not worked on it lately as most current is on Smugmug, etc. Try the various headings above and links on left to see what is here. Let me know if anything needs removal.
